When I saw the first ad on TV advertising collagen-enriched cosmetics I was speechless. We'll be apologizing to Hitler, I thought; at least he didn't kill for money! Collagen is the gelatinous substance found in connective tissue, bone and cartilage. Nick Thimmesch's syndicated column, "Our Grisly Human Fetal Industry" documents that amniotic fluid and collagen can come from fetal material, since the Food and Drug Administration does not require pretesting or the identification of cosmetic ingredients. A glance through a local drug store revealed that the leading 12 shampoos and five hand creams all contained collagen. Check your beauty products and you may be shocked! Unless your beauty product specifies animal collagen or bovine collagen, the product probably contains human collagen. The drug company should be challenged at once. Even collagen taken from a human placenta raises questions about respect of life and ownership of the placenta.

Lawrence Solomon: A world awash in oil
Middle East will go back to being an obscure backwater
THE WORLD IS AWASH WITH OIL AND NATURAL GAS
As ordinary British people queue up at filling stations to pay disgustingly high petrol and diesel prices and record numbers of old people die of hypothermia in winter – unable to afford sufficient gas for heating – folk need to wake up to the obscene and dark political forces that are hell-bent upon removing their ability to maintain decent life-quality or even to survive at all. The truth is that even mainstream energy analysts are now admitting that THE WORLD IS AWASH WITH OIL AND NATURAL GAS (the Lawrence Solomon article from the Financial Post reproduced below being just one example).
Why Does The Department Of Homeland Security Need 450 MILLION Hollow Point Bullets?
Somebody out there has decided that the Department of Homeland Security needs a whole lot of ammunition. Recently it was announced that ATK was awarded a contract to provide up to 450 MILLION hollow point bullets to the Department of Homeland Security over the next five years. Is it just me, or does that sound incredibly excessive? What in the world is the DHS going to do with 450 million rounds? What possible event would ever require that much ammunition? If the United States was ever invaded, it would be the job of the U.S. military to defend the country, so that can't be it. So what are all of those bullets for? Who does the Department of Homeland Security plan to be shooting at? According to the U.S. Census, there are only about 311 million people living in the entire country. So why does the Department of Homeland Security need 450 million rounds of ammunition? Either this is an incredible waste or there is something that the Department of Homeland Security is not telling us.

New Obama Executive Order Seizes U.S. Infrastructure and Citizens for Military Preparedness
In a stunning move, on March 16, 2012, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order stating that the President and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water. The EO also states that the President and his Secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation, energy, and infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military. The EO also contains a vague reference in regards to harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of national defense.
In the future, I’m right: Letter from Aldous Huxley to George Orwell over 1984 novel sheds light on their different ideas
They were both critically acclaimed writers who were ahead of their time, creating imaginative visions of the future in their novels.

Treating Children Whose Parents Refuse to Have Them Vaccinated
Dr. Feyn, a Denver pediatrician, mentions to his colleague Dr. Manning that parents’ refusal of vaccines for their children has become more popular among parents in his patient panel in the last 5 years. “Most of these parents have similar reasons for choosing not to vaccinate their children. They cite alternative vaccination schedules, celebrity campaigns against vaccine side effects, even online forum discussions with other parents.”

"A Time Bomb For Civil Liberties": France Adopts a New Biometric ID Card
On Tuesday March 6, the French National Assembly (Assemblée Nationale) passed a law proposing the creation of a new biometric ID card for French citizens with the justification of combating “identity fraud”. More than 45 million individuals in France will have their fingerprints and digitized faces stored in what would be the largest biometric database in the country. The bill was immediately met with negative reactions. Yesterday more than 200 members of the French Parliament referred it to the Conseil constitutional, challenging its compatibility with Europeans' fundamental rights framework, including the right to privacy and the presumption of innocence. The Conseil will consider whether the law is contrary to the French Constitution.
